Capture attractive photos with Smartphone
We can capture attractive photos with Smartphone camera just like digital camera. But first, we must remember few important points for good photographing.
Focus point –
First, decide the focus point, before shooting a subject. For a good it’s shot better to be closer to the subject. It will help you to focus on the entire object. You can also have better control over the lighting of object.
In case of low light, it’s better to shoot photo on HDR (high dynamic range) mode. Lighting is the most important factor for good photography, as different light affect photos in different manner. Most Smartphones have built-in flashes. LED flashes are most common type of flashes available on the Smartphone, which are very good at close range. It’s better to move the subject to light source for maximum clarity of colors & details. Using flash in daylight help you to remove black spot & shadows in dim light situation.
Holding Position –
Hold the mobile with your both hand closer to body. You can get a good & sharp photo instead of blurry photo. After all, capturing a beautiful picture with your steady hand is a great challenge.
Clean the mobile lens before photography. Several times, it is not possible to take good shot due to dust, debris & finger prints present on the lens. It is very easy to clean it with a micro fiber cleaning cloth or soft cloth.
Most Smartphone have apps that enable them to capture different images at different resolution (by changing camera’s setting menu). For quick-save & quick sending of photo via MMS, low resolution is preferable. High resolution or the largest image size delivers sharp image with great details. Higher the resolution, higher quality of image.
Following the main rule of photography, you should capture several images of a scene or object from different angles. In case of any blurry image or image with shadow, you still have some backup images from different angle.
Most Smartphone camera offers digital zoom function. Avoid temptations to zoom in objects for better result. You will find that your image quality (sharpness & clarity) degrade the moment you start to zoom. Digital zoom adds no extra detail to the subject. Physically moving closer to the subject with your phone for a close up shot is preferable then digital zoom.
Several camera phones have setting menu for changing the resolution of image. With maximum resolution, you can capture maximum detail of the subject. In the camera setting menu you can change the exposure, color balance, resolution, levels & image quality to enhance the photo & color quality.
It’s important for you to be aware of white balance problem. White balance helps in adjusting the lighting so that object that are white in real world appear same way in image/photo. If white balance is off, you may end of getting a remarkably orange image. Camera phones are often good at detecting white balance problem. By giving the Smartphone 5 seconds to adjust itself with surrounding environment (lighting & ambiance), you will allow it to change the white balance automatically. It enables you to capture good shot.
